South Dakota State University's Tyler Sorenson will square off against fourth-seeded and returning All-American Cam Simaz of Cornell (N.Y.) in the opening round of the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships on March 18.

A senior from Garretson, Sorenson earned his second consecutive trip to nationals by winning the 197-pound title at the NCAA West Regional March 6 at Frost Arena. He enters the tournament with a 29-5 overall record.

Simaz placed eighth at 197 pounds as a freshman last season and has compiled a 37-5 record during the 2009-10 campaign.

Competition begins the morning of March 18 at Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb. The tournament concludes on Saturday, March 20.
