2008-09

Had a season best shot put of 39 feet, ½ inch to finish fourth and placed fourth with a weight throw of 41 feet, 5 ¼ inches, 10th best in SDSU history, at the Dakota Duals (1/30) … finished second at the DSU Invite with a shot put of 37 feet, 2 ½ inches (3/28) … season best of 129 feet, 5 inches in the hammer throw at the Sioux City Relays (4/17-18) … had a season best shot put of 40 feet, 4 inches at the Summit League Championships (5/15)

 

2007-08

Indoors, threw 35 feet, 3 1/4 inches in the weight throw at the MSU Preseason Open... had a season best throw of 37 feet, 7 1/4 inches in the shot put at the MSU Open... during the outdoor season, had a distance of 107 feet, 11 inches in the hammer throw at the Iowa Invitational... placed fifth at the USF Twilight in the javelin throw with a distance of 75 feet, 5 inches and finished third with 37 feet, 8 inches in the shot put

 

2006-07
Indoors, competed in the weight throw in five meets, posting a season-best of 33 feet, 4 inches at the Dakota Duals ... competed in the shot put in five meets, posting a season-best of 37 feet, 7-1/4 inches ... outdoors, competed in just one meet, recording a distance of 94-3 in the discus and 92-8 in the hammer throw at the Missouri Relays

 

Before SDSU
Larson was a three-sport athlete at Flandreau High School ... two-time state qualifier, placed fourth and sixth overall ... a team captain in track, basketball and volleyball ... received the Coke Unsung Hero Award ... also competed in basketball and volleyball ... was a National Honors Society member ... nominated athlete of the month in consecutive years at Flandreau
