Ryan Sweeter joined the South Dakota State sports information staff in Sept. 2006, and serves as the primary contact for Jackrabbit volleyball, men's basketball, softball and equestrian.

Before joining the SDSU staff, Ryan spent four years as the weekend sports anchor at KDLT-TV in his hometown of Sioux Falls, where he covered everything from racquetball to the Minnesota Twins and, of course, the Jackrabbits.

An active duty veteran of the United States Air Force, Ryan graduated from SDSU in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism, and then spent a year living in Connecticut before returning to South Dakota.
