The South Dakota State women's cross country team is set to run in the Dakota State Invitational in Madison, S.D., on Saturday. The invitational is set to begin at 10 a.m.
Last week the women's cross country team ran at the OZ Memorial in Minneapolis, Minn. The team finished in 4th place of 7 teams, and was led once again by junior Erin Hargens. Hargens finished in 15th place with a time of 23 minutes and 30.34 seconds. The leader finished in 21:17.87.
Potts, a junior, finished in 27th with a time of 24:16.57.
Neubert, a freshman, finished in 31st with a time of 24:33.90
Creager, a junior, finished in 46th with a time of 25:04.94.
McCann, a junior, finished in 49th with a time of 25:11.85.
The Summit League released its first list of top times from league runners.
Currently, Hargens has ran the third-fastest 5k, finishing in 18:52.40 in the season-opening Ron Pynn Invitational. Potts has the fourth-fastest 5k, finishing four seconds behind Hargens in that invitational.
Hargens has also ran that fastest 6k, finishing last weekend's invitational in 23:30.34. She holds the top conference time by over 30 seconds.
