Women's golf tied for 10th at Kansas State

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The South Dakota State women's golf team is tied for 10th place at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational. The Jackrabbit women compiled a two-round team score of 638 (322-316) on Monday.

Arkansas-Little Rock leads with a score of 590 (292-298).

Amber Houser leads the Jacks with a score of 155 (77-78) and is tied for 25th place. Katie Purcell carded a 158 (81-77) and is tied for 40th. Alli Plath is tied for 51st after shooting a 162 (82-80). Morgan Fitts tallied a 164 (83-81) and is tied for 55th. Brittany Hanten registered a 169 (82-87) and is in 63rd place.

Malin Lundberg of Arkansas-Little Rock is leading the tournament individually with a score of 140 (70-70).

The third and final round starts Tuesday morning.
