SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The South Dakota State women's golf team is currently tied for fifth at the Payne Stewart Memorial. The Jackrabbit women compiled a two-round team score of 628 (313-315) on Monday.
Host Missouri State leads with a score of 608 (302-306).
Morgan Fitts and Katie Purcell lead the Jacks with scores of 158 (79-79 and 82-76 respectively) and are tied for 23rd. Brittany Hanten and Amber Houser both carded a 159 (75-84 and 80-79 respectively) and are tied for 30th. Alli Plath shot a 160 (79-81) and is in 33rd place.
Lindsey Eisenhuth is competing as an individual and registered a 176 (89-87) and is in 63rd place.
Katrina Choate of Drury University currently leads all individuals with a score of 149 (73-76).
The third and final round starts Tuesday morning.
