Soccer adds another for 2012...

The South Dakota State women's soccer team added another student-athlete to the roster for the 2012-13 season...

The Jacks received the national letter of intent from Stacy Guijarro, a transfer from Antelope Valley College, a junior college in Lancaster, Calif.

Guijarro, a forward, scored 26 goals and assisted on 11 more in the California JUCO League. She was named the conference player of the year last season.

"We are super excited to have Stacy joining our program this fall," head coach Lang Wedemeyer said. "She is a fast, dynamic front-runner who can score goals and set up teammates."

Guijarro joins an attack that aims to replace the production lost to graduation in Kelsey Ferguson and Kayla Braffet, 2011 Summit League Offensive Player of the Year.

Along with Guijarro, nine other student-athletes who joined the squad on national signing day.
