CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. - The South Dakota State women's golf team is currently in fifth place after one round in the Augustana Spring Fling at the Desert Princess Country Club. The Jackrabbits compiled an 18-hole score of 318.
Morgan Fitts leads the Jackrabbit women with a score of 76 and is in sixth place. Brittany Hanten fired a 78 and is tied for eighth place. Alli Plath carded an 80 and is tied for 12th. Jordan Trohkimoinen shot an 84 and is tied for 29th. Amber Houser is tied for 36th after carding an 86.
St. Edwards leads the Spring Fling with a score of 306, only 12 strokes in front of the Jackrabbits in the 10-team field. Maggie Leland of
Augustana and Claire Rachor of Western Washington lead all individuals in the
58-player field with scores of 73. Play resumes at 2 p.m. Central Time on Friday.
