COLUMBIA, Mo. - The South Dakota State men's golf team is tied for 13th out of 15 teams after the opening day of the Mizzou Tiger Intercollegiate. The Jackrabbit men compiled a 36-hole score of 618 (316-302).
Dillon Schultz leads the Jacks with a score of 152 (78-74) and is tied for 40th. Hudson Carpenter carded a 153 and is tied for 43rd. Greg Fehrman registered a 156 (80-76). David Smith tallied a 162 (84-78) and is tied for 76th. Nolan Meyer shot a 174 (79-95) and is in 84th place. Lukas Davison is competing as an individual and carded a 169 (78-91) and is in 83rd place.
Host Missouri leads the event with a team score of 564 (275-289). IUPUI is in second place with a score of 584 (298-286). Ryan Zech of Missouri leads individually with a score of 137 (67-70).
The third and final round starts Tuesday morning.
