The South Dakota State men's and women's golf teams are scheduled to play for the 2012 Summit League Championships in Primm, Nev., on April 23-24 at the Primm Valley Golf Club. The men's tournament takes place on the Desert Course, while the women compete on the Lakes Course.

The Jackrabbit men and women played at the course earlier this spring at the Jackrabbit Invitational, where the men finished tied for third with Oral Roberts behind UMKC in second and Idaho, which won the event. The Jackrabbit women finished in 12th place. The Oral Roberts women finished second, the highest of all the Summit League women's teams.

Last year at the Summit League Championships, Nolan Meyer finished tied for third, good enough to earn all-tournament team honors. The Jackrabbit men finished in seventh place, and the Jackrabbit women finished in sixth place. The Oral Roberts women, the only women's team to ever win a Summit League golf title, look to win the conference for the 15th year in a row.
