Two more join wrestling team...
The South Dakota State wrestling team continued its stretch of signings with two more national letters of intent...
J.J. Everard and Hunter Weddington are the latest Jackrabbit signings.
From Etiwanda, Calif., Everard competed to the Round of 12 at the California State Wrestling Championships the past two seasons. California consists of only one class for all high schools, which makes the state tournament very prestigious and competitive. Everard projects at 197 pounds.
Weddington, of Andover, Kan., was a state runner-up in high school and provides weight versatility for SDSU. Weddington projects at either 174 or 184 pounds.
"We are very pleased to add two more upper-weights into the fold," head coach Chris Bono said. "These two guys are motivated both in the classroom and on the mat. They understand that we are trying to win at the highest level here at SDSU. We look forward to these guys competing each day."
The two signings make five over the past two weeks for the Bono and the Jacks.
