Collegeville, Minn. - The SDSU women’s cross country took first at the Fall Finale, Friday with Samantha Anderson taking second place.
Anderson finished the race with a time of 18:26.00, which is her best time on the season.
The Jackrabbits had great success at the race, with the top seven runners finishing in the top 14.
Eibs had a time of 18:57.00, K. Anderson finished in 19:09.00 and Peterson clocked in at 19:18.00.
Bobbie McLaury finished tenth with a time of 19:38.00.
In 12th was Rochelle Wynia, who clocked in at 19:43.00.
Seven seconds behind Wynia was Alex Suhr, who finished 14th.
Melissa Knobloch took 41st with a time of 21:17.00.
In 49th was Jessica Derby with a time of 21:40.00.
The Jackrabbits took first on the day with a score of 27 points. St. Bens took second with a score of 48 points.
This was the last regular season race for SDSU as they will be competing in the NCAA Midwest Regionals next week in Springfield, MO.
The start time for next week’s race will be at 12 p.m.
