Kelli Herman joined the South Dakota State development staff as a graduate assistant after spending five years as a student-athlete on the Jackrabbit soccer team.

Herman graduated from SDSU in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

During her time at SDSU, Herman contributed to three regular season conference championships and competed in two conference championship games, advancing to the NCAA College Cup for the first time in school history in 2008. In her senior season, Herman anchored the defense that posted a consecutive shutout minutes streak of 832:23, the 12th-longest streak in NCAA history, and earned all-Summit League First Team honors.

Herman is pursuing a Master of Science degree in sports and recreation studies.
