Nick was named to the all-section team three times and earned all-state honors his senior season at Desert Vista High School after tallying 79 tackles ... a key player on the 2011 Division I state championship team, his career totals included eight interceptions, three forced fumbles, six total touchdowns and a school-record 119 solo tackles ... a member of the National Honor Society, he plans to major in biology/pre-medicine
