The South Dakota State women's soccer coaching staff is conducting a coaches clinic on Saturday, Feb. 16.
The clinic is scheduled for 1-3 p.m. at the 5th Street Gym and is free for all registered teams and their respective coaches, as well as the public.
Events scheduled for the clinic include handouts, a model training session with Jackrabbit soccer coaches and a question and answer session with the SDSU student-athletes and coaching staff.
In the model training session, SDSU coaches will use current SDSU student-athletes to demonstrate a training session and critical coaching points. Coaches will receive handouts on the session and coaching points that are recommended by SDSU soccer for player development.
Players can learn by watching current college players train and will have the opportunity to ask questions following the session.
The clinic is hosted in conjunction with the Cubby's Indoor Futsal Tournament, a youth soccer tournament in Brookings.
