Viewing options for busy week in SDSU athletics

Fans of South Dakota State University Athletics can follow their favorite Jackrabbit teams through a busy weekend on a variety of media platforms.

Four different home events this will be featured on video streaming through the Jackrabbit Extra subscription service at GoJacks.com. The home slate begins Friday with the Jackrabbit volleyball team hosting Omaha in a 7 p.m. match at Frost Arena.

Three different events will be featured on Saturday, starting with the Jackrabbit wrestling team's season-opening dual against Drexel (Pa.) at 11 a.m. Following wrestling, the SDSU-Indiana State football game will be streamed in high-definition. The day's events conclude at 7 p.m. with the Jackrabbit volleyball team hosting Western Illinois.

Free video streaming of the Jackrabbit basketball teams' regular season openers will be available through opponents' websites. The SDSU-Brigham Young women's basketball game is available through byutvsports.com, and also will be televised on BYUTV, which is available on DishNetwork (Channel 9403) and DirecTV (Channel 374), starting at 4 p.m. Central.

The men's basketball season opener Friday night at San Diego will be carried through USDToreros.com, starting at 9 p.m. Central. The Jackrabbits' second game of the tournament, versus Loyola Marymount (Calif.) on Saturday, is not scheduled to be available via video streaming.

Audio broadcasts of all Jackabbit football and basketball games this weekend will be available through the Jackrabbit Extra and carried along the Jackrabbit Sports Network. Please note that Saturday's men's basketball game will originate from WNAX-FM 104.1 The Wolf due to overlap of coverage with Jackrabbit football.

In addition, the Jackrabbit women's soccer team will be in action this weekend at the Summit League Championships in Fort Wayne, Ind. SDSU is scheduled to face North Dakota State in semifinal action at 7 p.m. Central Friday, with the championship game set for 11 a.m. Central on Sunday. Video streaming will be available through GoMastodons.com, with a cost of $5.95 per match.
