Three Jacks tabbed Academic All-League

ELMHURST, Ill. -- The Summit League released its 2014 Academic All-League Teams today and South Dakota State had three representatives on the two squads. Parker Lawley and Mateus Moreira were honored on the men's side, while Jenny Blackburne garnered all-league recognition on the women's side.

Lawley, a junior from Fargo, went 11-9 in singes actions and 13-10 in doubles. The mechanical engineering major owns a 3.986 GPA and is a two-time All-Summit League honoree.

Moreira went 17-6 in singles and 11-9 in doubles play. The sophomore from Brazil owns a 3.614 GPA majoring in civil engineering.

On the women's side, Blackburne went 16-9 in singles and 12-14 in doubles play. The New Zealand native boasts a 3.922 GPA in mechanical engineering/HPER and is a two-time Academic All-League selection.

Both Jackrabbit squads saw their seasons come to an end with losses to IPFW in the semifinals of the Summit League Championships.
