ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State’s Trent Lusignan was honored Tuesday by the Summit League with the his first Athlete of the Week award this year.
Lusignan posted a top-tier performance at the OZ Memorial last Friday. Lusignan finished third with a time of 19:01.28.
With his time of 19:01.28, Lusginan shattered his personal best by 44 seconds. He set his old personal record at the OZ Memorial last year.
Lusignan and the Jackrabbits finished second at the OZ Memorial with a score of 68 points.
The Jackrabbits will be back in action this Friday, Sept. 14, at the SDSU Classic at the Edgebrook Golf Course with a start time of 6:15 p.m.
