Men's cross country finishes 11th

Springfield, Mo. – The South Dakota State men’s cross country team took 11th today (Friday, Nov. 9), at the NCAA Midwest Regional.

Michael Krsnak was the top finisher for the Jackrabbits at the meet with a 47th place finish. Krsnak finished the race with a time of 31:29.04.

Trent Lusignan was right behind Krsnak has he took 50th. Lusignan clocked in at 31:32.41.

Joel Reichow and Jared Ailts finished back-to-back. Reichow placed 71st with a time of 32:10.65, while Ailts was 72nd and had a time of 32:15.68.

Drew Kraft ended the day in 101st with a time of 32:54.01.

In 176th was Jensen Orlow with a time of 35:11.33.

Kenny Mayer clocked in at 36:19.00. Mayer placed 185th. 

The Jackrabbits ended the day with 340 points, 39 ahead of the University of South Dakota. The cross country season is now over, but in less than a month the track and field indoor season will begin.
