The Summit League named South Dakota State point guard Nate Wolters its Player of the Week on Monday for a league-record seventh time, and tied the all-time league mark with 15 career honors

"Nate had another great week of basketball and it would have been even better had he not gotten injured in the Murray State game," head coach Scott Nagy said. "Once again he is very deserving of being named player of the week."

Against CSU Bakersfield on Wednesday, Wolters finished one assist shy of a triple-double, scoring 32 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out nine assists. Facing Murray State in a nationally-televised BracketBusters game, he scored 18 points with six rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Wolters played 89 of his team's 90 minutes in the two games, including all 50 in the double-overtime contest at Bakersfield. His weekly averages included 25 points, seven assists, six rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. Wolters became the first player on record (since 1990-91) to earn three consecutive Summit League Player of the Week awards.
