IUPUI Jaguars (9-11, 3-2 Summit) – The defending regular season champions and one of two preseason co-favorites to win The Summit League, the Jaguars opened league play with losses at Denver and at South Dakota, but bounced back with a trio of 3-0 sweeps of Western Illinois, Omaha and Fort Wayne, all in Indianapolis.

The Series vs. IUPUI – Series tied 6-6 after the Jaguars swept the season series in 2012, making it three wins in a row for IUPUI.  The Jackrabbits won the first three meetings in the evenly matched series that dates back to the 2007 season.

The Last Meeting: Oct. 20, 2012; Indianapolis, Ind. – South Dakota State fell into an 0-2 hole in the first meeting against IUPUI at Frost Arena on Sept. 21, but came back to force a fifth set before falling 3-2. The Series vs. Fort Wayne – The Mastodons lead the all-time series 14-4, including a streak of 10 straight wins from 2008 through the first meeting of 2012.
