The Jacks struggled early, dropping the doubles point by 8-1 and 8-0 decisions at No 1 and No. 3 doubles. Megan McDougall and Bryna Nasenbeny were up 4-2 at No. 2, but the match was unfinished due to a decision on the point being reached.
