South Dakota State's James Thorp was named to the Men's Tennis All-Summit Team on Thursday, the day before SDSU makes its Summit League Championships debut...

Thorp sported a 3-2 record in The Summit League and a 12-7 record overall, predominantly at No. 4 singles. Thorp also teamed with Parker Lawley for a 3-2 league record at No. 1 doubles.

The Jacks are set to face No. 1 seed UMKC in the semifinals at 6 p.m. on Friday at the Overland Park Racquet Club. The meet moved inside due to wind and rain.
