Jackrabbit Softball Winter Camps

I would like to personally invite you to the SDSU Jackrabbit Softball Winter Camp. This is a great opportunity to work with SDSU coaches and players, while also showcasing your talents.

Open to everyone in grades 4-12

Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013
Youth Camp (Grades 4-8)
Session I: Pitching - 10 -11:30 a.m.
Session II: Hitting - 12-1:30 p.m.
Session III: Defense - 1:30-3 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013
High School Camp (Grades 9-12)
Session I: Pitching - 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Session II: Hitting - 12-1:30 p.m.
Session III: Defense - 1:30-3 p.m.

Cost
Early registration: $50 per session or $130 for all three sessions
Same day registration: $60 per session or $180 for all three sessions
All prices include a 7.5 percent sales tax

Session I Pitching (all pitchers must provide their own catcher)
The Jackrabbit coaching staff teaches and critiques pitchers on proper technique. The SDSU coaches also put campers through the same drills utilized by the SDSU pitching staff.

Session II Hitting
Coaches go through a breakdown of mechanics and methods used by SDSU Softball to develop a solid approach to hitting. The SDSU coaching staff takes hitters through a variety of hitting stations.

Session III Defense
The Jackrabbit staff puts infielders, outfielders and catchers through drills involving proper technique for throwing, fielding and footwork. Participants receive the opportunity to work on two different positions in this session.

Equipment Needed
Athletic shoes, uniform/workout clothes, bat, batting gloves and batting helmet.

**If attending more than Session I, lunch will need to be on your own, and will not be provided by SDSU**
