Jacks tied for 18th through 18 holes
SIMI VALLEY, Calif. -- The South Dakota State men's golf team sits tied for 18th place after one round at the Bill Cullum Invitational, hosted by Cal State Northridge, in the final tournament of the Fall season.
The 54-hole tournament is being held at the 6,819-yard, par-72 Wood Ranch Golf Club and features a field of 20 teams.
Play was suspended late in the second round on Monday evening due to darkness and will be finished Tuesday morning at 9:45 a.m. (CST).
Freshman Ian Rinken (+8) carded an 80 on Monday and is tied for 99th place.
San Diego is leading the team standings after 18 holes with a score of 282.
Arizona State's Jon Rahm and Long Beach State's Kevin Lee are tied for first place with opening round scores of 67 (five-under).
After the second round wraps up Tuesday morning, the third and final round begins with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. (CST).
