Softball blanked at Kansas
LAWRENCE, Kan. – The South Dakota State softball team played its final two games before Summit League play on Saturday, but dropped both games of a doubleheader at Kansas, both by 8-0 scores.
The losses drop the Jackrabbits to 5-14 on the season, while the Jayhawks improve to 17-7.
The Jayhawks opened with four runs in the first inning of the opener and then added three runs in the third before ending the game with a single run in the fifth inning.
The Jackrabbits get 10 days off before starting Summit League play at Fort Wayne on March 21.
