BROOKINGS, S.D. — The South Dakota State women’s golf team travels to Bowling Green, Ohio, for its last regular-season event this weekend, the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational.

Hosted by Bowling Green Saturday and Sunday, the 54-hole, par-72, 5,960-yard invitational has a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start both days. The Jacks are one of 15 teams in action, including Summit League foe Fort Wayne.

In their last outing, the Jacks posted their fourth top-five finish of the season placing second Tuesday at the Kansas City Shootout at the Shoal Creek Golf Club in Kansas City, Mo.

Sophomore Sydney MacDonald (Calgary, Alberta) earned her second top-five finish of the season placing fifth in the 90-player field. She shot a 230 (78-75-77), seven shots behind the shootout leader.

Freshman Islamiah Fuad (Perak, Malaysia) shot a 236 (75-79-82) to tie for 14th and junior Myranda Dunmire (Palmdale, Calif.) tied for 17th after shooting 237 (77-76-84).

MacDonald is ninth in The Summit League in scoring average, shooting 78.85 over 26 rounds. Fuad ranks 11th, shooting 79.85 over 26 rounds.
