Kristin has settled into a starting role after providing a boost off the bench for the Jackrabbits her first season

2008-09
Moved into the starting lineup this season, making starts in 30 of 35 games ... honorable mention all-Summit League honoree ... struggled early in the season from three-point range, but remains one of the team’s most consistent perimeter shooters, ranking second on squad with 60 three-pointers ... also third on the squad with scoring average of 10.1 points per game ... was 4-of-5 from three-point range and 8-of-9 at the line en route to 26 points in win over Illinois at Caribbean Challenge MTE in Cancun, Mexico (11/27) ... scored career-high 27 points and was 6-of-7 on three-pointers in win at Minnesota (12/9) ... reached double figures in all seven games played in December, including 18 points in Summit League matchup against Oral Roberts (Okla.) (12/6) ... overall, reached double digits 16 times ... scored 12 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished out four assists in road victory at Southern Utah (1/17) ... closed Summit League regular season with 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting from three-point range at Centenary (La.) (2/28) and 14 points at Oral Roberts (3/2) ... scored 15 points – 12 of which came in the second half — in Summit League championship game against Oakland (Mich.) (3/10) ...
scored a game high 17 points going 4-of-7 from the three point line in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in a win against TCU (3/22)

2007-08
Kristin made an immediate impact for the Jackrabbits as she was named Summit League Sixth Woman of the Year and earned a spot on the Summit League All-Newcomer Team ... set an SDSU freshman record with a team-best 58 three-pointers ... ranked fourth on squad in three-point percentage at 41.1 percent ... played in 28 games with six starts ... began career by making a three-pointer in first 11 games ... named Summit League Player of the Week in November after averaging 17.5 points per game in wins over Oregon (11/15) and Missouri (11/18) ... made four treys en route to 18 points at Oregon and sank a trio of three-pointers on the way to 17 points against Missouri ... drained three triples in collegiate debut against Arkansas State en route to nine points (11/9) ... recorded double figures 15 times, including season-best 21 points in home win over Minnesota-Duluth (1/1) ... had string of seven consecutive games in double figures between November and December ... scored 19 points on 5-of-8 shooting from long range in road loss at Utah (11/28) ... also tallied season-best five trifectas at George Washington (11/23) ... scored 10 points and grabbed season-best six rebounds in first career start, versus Southern Illinois at the George Washington Thanksgiving Classic ( 11/24) ... in Summit League play, top scoring output was 17-point night in home win over IUPUI (2/11) ... member of the Academic All-Summit League Team

Completed standout prep career at McCook Central High School in Salem ... named Class A Player of the Year by the South Dakota Coaches Association in 2007 ... member of the Sioux Falls Argus Leader First Five and first-team all-state selection in both 2006 and 2007 ... Miss Basketball finalist ... five-time all-conference pick ... career totals included 1,910 points (19.3 ppg), 606 rebounds and 262 assists ... starter since the eighth grade under coach Doug Durfee ... named to all-tournament team at state tourneys in 2006 and 2007 ... set record with 14 three-pointers during 2006 state tournament ... academic all-state honoree and National Scholar Athlete ... played club basketball with South Dakota Elite ... also made two state tournament appearances in golf and three in track ... placed second in shot put and third in track at state meet in 2007 ... nominated for Wendy’s High School Heisman award ... member of the National Honor Society, Regent Scholar and class salutatorian
