“I chose to attend South Dakota State University for a few reasons. First of all, i decided that it suited me well both academically and for soccer.  I am a biology major, but have yet to decide what I want to do after college. I knew that SDSU had many different paths that I could choose to go down, even if my plans changed.  Sports wise, I really liked the team and coaches.  The players were extremely welcoming and I liked their style of play.  I knew that I wanted to play soccer and SDSU seemed to be the right fit for me across the board.  Lastly, it was the right distance from home (four hours), and a medium size university, which I was also looking for!”
