MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- Two school records fell on day one of the Jean Freeman Invitational on Friday night.
Wil Hogue won the 50-yard freestyle while breaking the school record with a time of 20.70 seconds, besting his previous school record of 20.75 seconds.
Blake Yeager finished second in the 500-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 4:41.04. Kyle Ochsner finished fourth with a season-best time of 4:43.11.
Shea Patrick finished third in the 200-yard IM with a season-best time of 1:56.92.
The 200-yard feeestyle relay of Ben Bolinske, Phil Albu, Garth Wadsworth and Hogue finished third in a time of 1:24.42.
The 400-yard medley relay of Albu, Patrick, Wadsworth and Hogue finished third with a time of 3:30.20.
Devonne Dalin finished second in the 50-yard freestyle with a school record time of 24.00 seconds, which was previously set by Kaylin Caron in 24.07 seconds.
Abby Zenner finished fifth in the 50-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 24.84 seconds.
Andrea Budahl finished second in the 500-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 5:05.29. Emma Wright finished third in 5:15.09 and Fawn Weihl finished fourth with a season-best time of 5:16.72.
Kayce Smith finished third in the 200-yard IM with a season-best time of 2:11.04.
The 200-yard freestyle relay of Dalin, Zenner, Nicole Grimit and Caron finished second in a time of 1:37.86.
The 400-yard medley relay of Beth Honner, Paige Weisz, Lexi Temperley and Wright finished fourth in a time of 4:13.65.
The Invitational is a non-scoring meet and will continue Saturday morning.
