For the second time this season, South Dakota State University senior Mallory Onisk has been honored as the Summit League Women's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week.

A native of Bear, Del., Onisk went undefeated in seven races in a pair of home dual victories last weekend against Saint Louis University (Mo.). In the Jan. 10 dual, Onisk won individual titles in the 50-yard freestyle (24.72 seconds) and 100 butterfly (:59.30). She also swam on the Jackrabbits' winning 200 medley (1 minute, 52.00 seconds) and 200 freestyle (1:41.65) relay teams.

She closed out the weekend with two more individual victories Sunday morning, claiming the 400 individual medley (4:46.87) and 200 butterfly (2:14.18). Her final win of the weekend came in the 400 medley relay, in which the team posted a time of 4:05.66.

Onisk, who also received the Summit League weekly award on Nov. 11, currently ranks among the league leaders in a number of championship events: 50 freestyle (fifth, :24.72); 100 butterfly (:58.48); 200 butterfly (sixth, 2:09.77); 200 individual medley (fifth, 2:11.67), and 400 individual medley (sixth, 4:43.26).

The Jackrabbits return to competition Feb. 6-7 at the Minnesota Challenge in Minneapolis.
