Jackrabbits wrap up the season at Bradley Invite

PEORIA, Ill. - The South Dakota State women's cross country team finished 15th in a field of 20 at the Bradley Invitational in Peoria, Ill. Friday.

Kelsey (Aune) Clausen was the first Jackrabbit to cross the finish line with a time of 22 minutes 49 seconds, good for 52nd place.

Tera Potts followed in 57th place with a time of 22:54, while Krista Creager rounded out the top-three finishers for the Jacks with an 87th-place finish and a time of 23:24.

Danielle McCann and Katie Boote ran neck-and-neck finishing in 89th and 90th places with times of 23:28 and 23:31, respectively.  Brooke Wyffels came in behind McCann and Boote in 92nd place with a time of 23:32.

The Jackrabbits competed against nationally ranked opponent  #11 Iowa State and regionally ranked #10 Missouri and #13 Illinois.

The women take next week off to prepare for the Summit League Championship Oct. 30 in Indianapolis, Ind. The men's cross country team is set to compete tomorrow at Pre Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind.
