YANKTON, S.D. - Freshman jumper Jeremiah Ary had quite the day for himself has he posted top results in the triple jump and the long jump.

Ary won the triple jump with his distance of 48’ 6.00” and he placed second in the long jump with a mark of 22’ 10.00”. His mark in the triple jump ranks fifth in school history.

Cullen Mack finished fifth in the weight throw with his distance of 160’ 8.00”.  Mack also finished fifth in the discus throw. In the discus throw he recorded a throw of 148’ 03.00”.

In the 3000-meter steeplechase, Anthony Bongard and Austin Hamm placed fourth and fifth. Bongard finished in 9:51.79, while Hamm clocked-in at 10:06.42. Hamm recorded a new personal best today by .37 seconds.

Michael Krsnak and Joel Reichow finished second and third in the 1500-meter run with times of 4:14.03 and 4:14.48 respectively.

Traxton Priebe ran the 110-meter hurdles in 16.82.

Jared Foote and Jesse Dunn went back-to-back in the 400-meter dash. They finished in second and third with times of 50.24 and 50.60.

In the 100-meter dash, LeAndre Kennedy claimed third with his time of 11.00.

Phillip LaVallee won the 800-meter run with his time of 1:59.80.

Justin Carson and Priebe finished in second and third in the 400-meter hurdles with times of 57.41 and 58.64.

Foote also finished third in the 200-meter dash with his time of 22.27.

Connor Berg won the high jump with a height of 6’ 6.00; his height today is new personal best.

Trent Lusignan posted a fifth place finish in the 5000-meter run; he completed the race in 15:35.89.

In the pole vault, Nathaniel Schaefer finished fourth with a height of 14’ 7.25”.

The 4x400-meter relay team finished third overall with their time of 3:30.98.

Ryan Ackman recorded a distance of 39’ 03.75” in the shot put.

The Jackrabbits to travel to Sioux City, Iowa and Lincoln, Neb. to compete in a couple of meets next weekend. SDSU will be competing in the Sioux City Relays (April 12-13) and in the Nebraska Quad (April 13).
