Head coach Lang Wedemeyer shared his thoughts on the day by saying, “It was great to get the first win of the season and great to get three goals on the day. We are still a ways from being the championships team we aspire to be, but today was a good step forward.”

The SDSU defense kept the Lamar offense in check during the second half. Lamar did not register a single shot in the final 45 minutes. The Jackrabbits were able to shutdown Kimmy Albeno and Kristin Bos. Albeno owns the school record in goals with 19, while Bos is third overall with 16.

Inskeep won her first career game in yellow and blue.

Overall the Jackrabbits posted 17 total shots, 10 of those were on goal.
