Jacks still 11th after 36 holes
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The South Dakota State women's golf team remains in 11th place at the LPGA Xavier Invitational after second round score of 318 on Sunday.
The Jackrabbits have a two-round total of 635 after posting a 317 on Saturday in the opening 18 holes at the 6,146-yard, par-72 LPGA International Golf Course.
Islamiah Fuad is tied for 37th place with a 36-hole score of 157. The freshman carded an 80 in the second round after an opening round of 77.
Morehead State leads the team standings with a two-round total of 596 (302-294) and holds a five-stroke advantage over Daytona State College (300-301-601) heading into the final round.
Mercer University's Lacey Fears is in first place with scores of 72 and 70 (142) and holds a one-stroke lead over Samford University's Bailey Gray (73-70-143) heading into the final 18 holes.
The final round begins with a shotgun start at 7:15 a.m. (CST) on Monday.
