SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The South Dakota State women's golf team is in 14th place out of 17 teams through one round at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial. The Jackrabbit women compiled a one-round-score of 341.
Rachel Hanigan and Katie Purcell are leading the Jackrabbits with scores of 83 to stand in a tie for 46th place. Abby Feehan is tied for 72nd place after shooting an 87. Rebecca Swords carded an 88 and is tied for 75th place, with Brittany Hanten tallying an opening-round 89 and is tied for 81st place.
Texas-El Paso is in first place at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial with a team-score of 304. Individually, Kelly Amundrud of Bradley (Ill.) leads with a score of 71.
