CHANDLER, Ariz. - The South Dakota Sate women's golf team is currently in 21st place through two rounds at the Cowgirl Classic hosted by Wyoming. The Jackrabbit women have compiled a 36-hole score of 635 (317-318) in the 24-team tournament.
Brittany Hanten leads the Jacks with a score of 155 (78-77) and is tied for 59th. Morgan Fitts carded a 156 (79-77) and is tied for 68th. Amber Houser tallied a 158 (80-78) and is tied for 83rd. Alli Plath registered a 166 (80-86) and is tied for 110th. Jordan Trohkimoinen shot a 178 (89-89) and is in 123rd place.
Colorado State leads the event with a team score of 584 (292-292), and Brianna Espinoza of Colorado State leads individually with a score of 136 (68-68).
The third and final round starts Wednesday morning.
