Lawley named Player of the Week
South Dakota State men's tennis student-athlete Parker Lawley was named Player of the Week after two singles wins and one doubles win.
Despite splitting its two meets, Lawley won two matches at No. 4 singles and one match at No. 1 doubles.

On Monday, the team won its spring trip opener in Florida versus Ohio Dominican (5-2). In doubles, the duo finished its match and helped SDSU win the doubles point with a consistent 8-4 win versus Walid Gtari and Patrick Ohanian. In singles, Lawley won in convincing fashion once again, defeating Jeremy Mokry 6-2, 6-3.
"Parker has put in the time this year and definitely earned this award," head coach Michael Engdahl said. "He got off to a bit of a slow start this season, but his game is coming around at the right time. The entire team is starting to build some positive momentum and hopefully we can capture it at its peak as the season progresses."
