Two more wrestlers join team...
The South Dakota State wrestling team and head coach Chris Bono announced two more signings for the upcoming season...
Brance Simms and Chet Utesch signed national letters of intent to attend SDSU and wrestle for the Jackrabbits.
Simms is a three-time placewinner on the Twin River Valley wrestling team and a graduate of Humboldt High School. His best finish was state champion as a junior. Simms is projected to wrestle at 133 pounds.
Utesch is also a three-time placewinner from Akron-Westfield High School. His best finish was third place as a senior. Utesch holds the school record for career wins with 177 victories.
"I am extremely pleased to pick up two quality Iowa kids this late," Bono said. "They are both great, hard-working lightweights who will bring an attitude and intensity to the program. They will both fit in nicely at weight classes that we desperately need."
The two signings make nine total since Bono was named head coach.
