Jackrabbit Athletics invited kids (K-8) to experience a behind-the-scenes look at running a South Dakota State basketball game.

On Saturday, Jan. 19, nine Junior Jacks learned about game-day operations during the women's basketball game versus IUPUI.

The kids shadowed game-day managers during pre-game and first-half responsibilities. Game-day managers included facilities, public address, sports information, Daktronics, music, tickets and radio.

Thanks to Gage Gullickson, Erica Peterson, Tucker Bayles, Lindsey Jibben, Ben Jibben, Payton Swanson, Brock Longville, Sam Brandenburger and Autumn Christenson for taking over Frost!

The next home game for Jackrabbit basketball is Saturday, when the men host North Dakota State. Start time is set for 2:05 p.m.
