SDSU leads Summit honor roll

ELMHURST, Ill. — South Dakota State placed a Summit League-best 160 student-athletes on the Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, league officials announced recently.

In order to be selected to the Summit League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athelte must have posted a grade-point average of 3.0 or better in the semester in which they compete, and must use a year of eligibility. The Jackrabbits also led The Summit League in the number of Distinguished Scholars as 76 of the 160 student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll compiled at least a 3.60 GPA during the spring semester.

Oakland was second for the number of Academic Honor Roll with 147 student-athletes recognized, followed by the University of South Dakota with 132.
