The South Dakota State University men's golf team has been honored by the Golf Coaches Association of America as a GCAA All-Academic Team for its efforts in the classroom during the 2011-12 season.

The Jackrabbits, coached by Jared Baszler, compiled a team grade-point average of better than 3.0 to qualify for the award.The GPAs of all squad members are taken into consideration for the ranking.

DePaul (ill.) was the highest ranked team with a 3.69 team GPA. SDSU was one of 68 Division I teams and the lone Summit League squad to earn the recognition.

The award, sponsored by Farmers Insurance, is in its fourth year of existence and the Jacks have been named a GCAA All-Academic Team every year the award has been given.
