COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The South Dakota State men's golf team finished in 15th place at the Mizzou Tiger Intercollegiate on Tuesday. The Jackrabbit men compiled a team score of 983 (335-325-323) in the 16-team, 87-player tournament.
David Smith paced the Jackrabbit men with a score of 238 (81-79-78) and finished tied for 51st. Nolan Meyer finished 56th after carding a 239 (81-79-79). Brian Wynia tallied a 253 (86-82-85) and finished tied for 78th. Hudson Carpenter finished tied for 80th after registering a score of 255 (87-85-83). Kyle Cooper shot a 257 (89-85-83) and finished tied for 82nd.
Host Missouri won the tournament with a team score of 900 (301-299-300), while Jace Long of Missouri took medalist honors with a score of 216 (71-71-74). The Jackrabbit men will play next at the Braveheart Classic in Beaumont, Calif., on April 11.
