Jackrabbit men finish 8th in fall finale
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - The South Dakota State men's golf team finished in eighth place out of eleven teams at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate Tuesday. The Jackrabbit men, who dropped two spots in the final round, compiled a three-round team score of 900 (294-299-307).
Central Arkansas led all teams with a score of 843 (277-282-282).
Individually, Hudson Carpenter paced the Jacks with a score of 217 (71-76-70) and finished tied for fifth. Dillon Schultz registered a 224 (71-72-81) and finished tied for 19th. Nolan Meyer finished tied for 30th after carding a 228 (77-76-75). David Smith tallied a 232 (75-75-82) and finished tied for 43rd. Greg Fehrman shot a 242 (79-82-81) and finished tied for 68th.
Lukas Davison competed as an individual and carded a 232 (79-74-79) and finished tied for 43rd.
Pep Angles of Central Arkansas took medalist honors shooting a 202 (67-64-71).
This concludes the fall season for the Jackrabbit men. The spring season starts when the SDSU hosts the Jackrabbit Invitational on March 12
