With the Jackrabbit men's and women's basketball teams both securing the No. 1 seed for next weekend's Summit League Basketball Championships, SDSU is guaranteed further postseason play in either the NCAA Tournament, WNIT (women) or NIT (men).

More detailed ticket information for postseason events beyond the Summit League Basketball Championships will be distributed March 13 and again after respective selections on either March 17 or 18.

Summit League Pre-Game Gatherings
Jackrabbit Athletics is teaming up with the SDSU Alumni Association and SDSU Foundation for pre-game fan gatherings prior to all SDSU games at next week's Summit League Basketball Championships in Sioux Falls. The pre-game gatherings will be held in the Fontenelle Ballroom of the Sheraton Hotel  (1211 North West Ave.), which is adjacent to the Sioux Falls Arena and Convention Center.

Pre-game gatherings will begin 2 1/2 hours prior to scheduled tipoff. For the opening day of the tournament on March 9, Jackrabbit fan gatherings will begin at 9:30 a.m. prior to the women's game and 3:30 p.m. prior to the men's game. A limited amount of food will be available, along with a cash bar.

Should the Jackrabbits continue to advance during the Summit League Basketball Championships, the pre-game fan gathering schedule would be as follows:
Saturday, March 9: 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Monday, March 11: 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 12: noon and 5:30 p.m.

BATA Offering Tournament Shuttle
Brookings Area Transit Authority (BATA) will be providing shuttle service from Brookings to Sioux Falls for the 2013 Summit League Basketball Championships. The BATA bus will pick up passengers at the east Performing Arts Center lot on the campus of South Dakota State University and transport them to the Sioux Falls Arena for the cost of $10 per person. Game tickets are not included. The bus will depart the east PAC lot 90 minutes prior to each Jackrabbit basketball game (10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 9) and return to Brookings 20 minutes after the conclusion of each game. For more information, contact BATA at (605) 692-2222.

2014 Summit League Tournament Information
Although a year away, all-session tickets for the 2014 Summit League Basketball Championships in Sioux Falls will go on sale to the general public next Friday (March 8).

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Sioux Falls Arena box office, through Ticketmaster.com or via any Ticketmaster outlet, which includes Lewis Drug in Brookings. Phone orders can be made through Ticketmaster's toll-free line at 1-800-745-3000. Cost is $115 per all-session pass, plus associated fees.

The 2014 tournament, scheduled for March 8-11, will be the last to be played at the Sioux Falls Arena. The four-day event, which features both the men's and women's championships, will move to the 12,000-seat Denny Sanford PREMIER Center starting in 2015. The Summit League Basketball Championships have continually set attendance records since first being hosted in Sioux Falls in 2009.

In addition, both single-session and all-session tickets remain for the 2013 Summit League Basketball Championships, which are slated for March 9-12.
