Jackrabbits drop series finale
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Fort Wayne put together three four-run innings, salvaging the final game of a four-game Summit League baseball series with a 12-2, seven-inning victory over South Dakota State Sunday afternoon at Mastodon Field.
The Mastodons improved to 15-23 overall and 7-5 in The Summit League. SDSU, which won the first three games in the series, dropped to 20-18 overall, 5-5 in league play.

White and Salerno again drove in runs, with the final two runs scoring on a single by Carter DeBoe and bases-loaded walk to Kristian Gayday.
Fort Wayne put the 10-run rule in effect with a four-run sixth inning highlighted by a two-run double by Greg Kaiser.
