PINE BLUFF, Ark. -- Junior right-hander Stephen Bougher threw a two-hit shutout as South Dakota State posted its first baseball victory of the season Friday with an 11-0, seven-inning victory at Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

The SDSU offensive attack Friday was led by senior catcher Zach Briggs, who recorded three hits and drove in a pair of runs. Eric Cain added a pair of hits, including a double.

The Jackrabbits, 1-8 on the season, will play a doubleheader at UAPB on Saturday to close out their Spring Break trip.
