Ashley Adams is one of two incoming freshmen from Glenlawn Collegiate (Lauren Kressock) ... She won numerous awards during her playing in Canada ... Adams’ soccer team took fifth place in the Canadian Club Nationals in Nova Scotia in October of 2012 ... Her club team was MSA U-18 champions in August of 2012 and she was named MVP ... She was named Rookie of the Year and was leading goal scorer on her high school team in 2010 ... Adams competed in track & field, where she was named MVP in 2009 ... She took home academic honors in ninth through 11th grade.

“You can never truly pick a university without visiting the campus. As soon as I visited SDSU I knew I was going to be a Jackrabbit. Growing up in a small town as a kid, Brookings was a great choice for me as far as sizing goes. Although one of the main reason I am now a student at SDSU is because of the amazing pharmacy program they have here. On top of these amazing factors that swayed me to become a Jackrabbit, soccer was just the icing on the cake. Getting to play soccer at a D-I level was always my dream. That is why I chose SDSU.”
