"It was a great weekend of tennis for the Jackrabbits," said head coach Michael Engdahl. "Every single player on the men's and women's team picked up a victory. That shows just how hard everyone has been working the last month and how much we have improved as a team. It is great to see every player contribute to a successful tournament. I don't think we have even come close to 33 wins at this event. We will certainly use this momentum in practice and the tournaments to come the next couple weeks. "

The C Flight doubles team of Anna Botzet and Katie Schwebach also won its opening-round match, 9-7 over Shaylin Prout and Mindy Lawrence from North Dakota. Another team from UND, Megan Sween and Sarah Stajskel turned in an 8-3 win over the Jackrabbit pair in semifinal action.
