Bryna Nasenbeny and Megan McDougall put together a strong effort at No. 2 doubles, but could not get over the hump in an 8-6 defeat.
The Panthers secured the No. 1 doubles match 8-3 and the No. 3 match 8-4 to earn the doubles point.
In singles, Jenny Blackburne was closest to her opponent at No. 2 singles, falling 6-3, 6-2.

Next up SDSU travels to Omaha, Neb., for a weekend of tennis. The Jacks face Nebraska-Omaha on Friday, Feb. 10, followed by Creighton on Saturday, Feb. 11. Meet times are set for 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively.
